1:1 Maternity Photography Mentoring

Spend a full day with Kayleigh in her Southern California boutique studio {approximately 80 minutes North of San Diego Airport} as she takes you through their entire newborn workflow. KAP mentoring is the next step in becoming a more confident and efficient newborn photographer. You will learn all about studio lighting camera settings, white balance for best skin tones, exposure and how to get the best images straight out of camera. This will be a full 8:30am-5pm day of learning and is an amazing opportunity to have professional training tailored specifically where you need it most. You will watch Kayleigh as she safely poses newborns during beanbag workflow, prop shots, wrapping and parent shots. Also watch Kayleigh edit 2-3 images to see exactly how she enhances each image. Kayleigh will ask you what you need help with the most and will focus most on those issues. Unlike a Workshop, Mentoring is truly a customized experience specifically tailored for you.

Editing in Camera RAW & Adobe Photoshop

Image Workflow (importing/culling/uploading etc) as well as my backup process.

Hands on posing with baby, (with my guidance) and you will be able to use the images you take for your portfolio.

What you need

DSLR camera with 35mm, 50mm, or 24-70mm lens

Knowledge of shooting in manual mode (ISO/Aperture/Shutter speed etc)

Notebook or laptop for taking notes

Some Photoshop experience is highly recommended

Please be aware that transportation, and accommodations are not included in your tuition. However, I will offer recommendations!

Tuition

A $500 retainer is required to book a 1:1 Mentoring with KAP and is non-refundable.

Your balance ($700) is due 4 weeks before the scheduled mentoring date.

Total Tuition is $1200
